As we mentioned in a previous blog, BIOMEDevice, an MD&M event is the show we look forward to all year, and it didn’t disappoint!

We headed up to Boston with our exhibits and our enthusiasm to connect with professionals working on new innovative medical devices. As the largest medical technology event in this region, BIOMEDevice brings together medical technology education, engineers, and developers with solution providers. In the past, PTI has made lasting connections with engineers who are designing the latest medical devices. This year was no different, as the large turnout kept us very busy!

It’s not an exaggeration to say that our booth was mobbed. Many of the attendees are designing new medical equipment, and are at a stage where they need to secure a battery pack vendor. Chatting with the engineers helped us learn what they needed and understand what’s best for their application. Randy, our sales engineer, explained all the chemistry options available, regulations for medical devices, and overall best designs for battery pack solutions. As experts in the battery pack world, we shared information they should keep in mind so their device will be composed of the highest quality components.

So many people came by our booth that we barely had time to walk the show, however we are happy to have been able to connect with some of our loyal customers, and recognize many familiar faces. The responses were received were overwhelmingly positive. The emerging medical equipment currently being developed will soon be helping patients. We are honored to be part of the medical device community through our battery packs and power solutions.
